Spit Roast Catering Packages
We have several packages on offer and can tailor these to suit your function and budget. Prices include GST.
- Disposable plates, cutlery, and napkins are provided with all spit roasts and barbecues. Sustainable plates available on request.
- Crockery and Cutlery can be hired for a small fee.
- Desserts can also be catered.
- Staff can be arranged on request, starting from $55 per hour.
It is always possible to add to these packages or make certain changes so please discuss your needs with us. If you have any special requests please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate these. We can travel anywhere in Melbourne and surrounds.
Gourmet Spit Roast
A choice of 2-3 meats: Crackled Pork Shoulders, Smoked Beef Brisket, Whole Free Range Chickens, and Rosemary and Garlic Boned Lamb Legs, cooked on a charcoal spit at your function and served with bread (sliced french stick), a choice of up to 3-4 gourmet salads and sides from our salad and sides selection, and condiments including gravy, mustard, and sauces to complement your choice of meat (Apple, Mint, Horseradish). Turkey can be arranged for an extra fee. Please note, our very popular Hickory Smoked Triple Peppered Beed Brisket is from the smoker, not spit roast.
Starting from $34.00 per person (min 40 people, price dependent on choices)
plus chef fee of $60 per hour.
To add The Whole Hog and/or the Whole Lamb to this package as one or two of the meat options add $5 per person (Hog), and $3 per person (Lamb). Min 50 people.
The Whole Lamb
From paddock to plate, a whole lamb reared in South Gippsland. This option is only available as one of the meats in the Gourmet Spit Roast package.
The Whole Hog - Snap Crackle and Pork
A whole pig slowly spit roasted over charcoal with crackling that won’t disappoint! Ranging in size from suckling pig to a larger pig up to 30kgs. This beautiful hog roast is served with bread (sliced french stick and dinner rolls), a choice of up to 3 salads and sides from our salads and sides selection, and condiments including gravy, mustard and apple sauce. This option is usually available for evening functions only and as a package with salads or in combination with the Gourmet Spit Roast package (min 50 people).
Price for The Whole Hog with salads is dependent on size of pig – please contact us to discuss. Chef charged at $55 per hour.
